MY NEW BOOK RELEASE
For more than three millennia, the I Ching has accompanied those seeking to understand the transformations at work in their lives. Often regarded as a book of wisdom or a form of divination, it is approached here as a system capable of revealing the dynamics within a situation and bringing its possibilities for development into view.
I Ching The Invisible Fabric of Reality offers a renewed reading of the sixty-four hexagrams. Their traditional language has been entirely reformulated and rendered in contemporary terms, making their underlying logic more accessible to today’s reader. Drawing on major reference works, particularly that of Richard Wilhelm, this approach carries their essential insights forward in the light of the author’s personal experience and years of teaching.
This approach invites the reader to engage with the I Ching not in order to predict the future, but to understand the present more fully. It helps identify the forces at work, recognise the transformations that are taking shape, and better assess the choices that arise from them. Without imposing a doctrine or providing ready-made answers, it offers a rigorous yet accessible way of questioning reality.
Designed both for those discovering the Yi Jing and for those already familiar with its practice, the book combines an introduction to the foundations of the I Ching, an original method of consultation, and commentaries on each of the hexagrams and their transformations. It also introduces several new elements designed to make the interpretation of readings more functional, more precise, and more directly applicable.
FOCUS TOPICS
1. The principle of natural mutation
Every situation already contains the seeds of its own transformation. Natural transformation brings to light this development embedded in the structure of the hexagram and reveals its direction, even when the reading shows no apparent change.
2. Transitional hexagrams
Transitional hexagrams make it possible to follow the evolution of a situation step by step. Whereas conventional interpretation considers the different changes simultaneously, this method restores their sequence and reveals a continuity that classical interpretation does not always make apparent. The reading thus gains in clarity and precision.
3. A specific perspective for each line
Each stage of a hexagram is accompanied by a second commentary that deepens its meaning. Reading the two texts together makes it possible to understand more clearly what is taking place and to identify the most appropriate attitudes or initiatives with greater precision.
4. Relationships between the hexagrams
The sixty-four hexagrams do not stand in isolation: they form networks of correspondences that reveal a genuine internal architecture of the I Ching. These relationships broaden the understanding of a reading by bringing to light connections, complementarities, and oppositions that enrich the interpretation.
